About Our Camp
Coach Smith and her staff will be hosting Elite Camps during the spring and summer of 2023. Our camps are designed for highly motivated student-athletes who have the will and desire to play basketball at the collegiate level.
The elite camps will include a mixture of skill-instruction, Conn WBB practice drills, 5-on-5 games, and competitive contests. Most of the camps will also include a campus tour, Q&A session with current student-athletes, and lunch at one of our on-campus dining halls.
Our camp will not only be an excellent basketball learning experience but will also provide student-athletes with the chance to engage in highly personal interactions with Coach Smith, her staff, and the Conn Women’s Basketball players.
It will be a great opportunity for student athletes to get to experience what it would feel like to be a Camel!
Camp Details
Who: Open to all girls entering 9-12 grade
When: August 19-20
Where: Connecticut College Athletic Center - Luce Fieldhouse - 270 Mohegan Ave. New London, CT

Cost per Player: $120 check/cash; $125 credit card

Payment is due at the start of camp

Saturday - 9:30 AM
Registration
Players may enter through the main doors of the Charles B. Luce Fieldhouse
Saturday 10:00-12:00 PM
Basketball Session I
Includes skill development, position work, and small group breakdowns
Saturday 12:00-2:00 PM
Lunch
All players will be able to eat lunch at the Harris Dining Hall on campus
Campus Tour
All players (and interested parents) will be taken on a campus tour
Saturday 2:00-4:00 PM
Basketball Session II
Includes offensive and defensive strategies, film sessions, and more small group breakdowns
Sunday 10:00-12:00 PM
Games
Campers will be split up evenly and compete in scrimmages
Sunday 12:00-1:00 PM
Questions & Answer Session with Conn Players and Coaches
Campers and parents will be able to ask questions of our current college players and our coaching staff
