At Smith Basketball Academy, we don't just say "we teach life skills through the game." We actually take the time during our practice sessions to meet as a group in a classroom to discuss our program pillars.

When discussing "ATTITUDE" we cover these topics:

• How we should act both on the floor and off 
• Explain how we will hold each player, and their family, to an extremely high standard of behavior
• What it means to have control over your attitude
• The effects of positive body language 
• How to communicate effectively
