Our Classroom Sessions
At Smith Basketball Academy, we don't just say "we teach life skills through the game." We actually take the time during our practice sessions to meet as a group in a classroom to discuss our program pillars.
When discussing "Team First" we cover these topics:
- Roles and how to embrace them - both socially and athletically
- The value of working as a collective group
- How to communicate properly
- Strategies to become a better listener
- How to handle disappointment and turn it into motivation - not finger pointing
